All students are expected to:
- Come to class on-time prepared to work
- Participate in class discussions and individual and group projects
- Do not talk when the teacher or others are talking
- Use your class time wisely...all work must be complete and turned in on time!
- Follow direct instruction and read the instructions first
- NO TEXTING DURING CLASS...there will be time for social media when you are done with your work, but there are rules!
- Do not pack up until you are instructed to OR the bell rings
- Keep the computer lab clean and picked up: 1. log-off or shut down the computers when you are done, push your chairs in, and throw all of you trash away!
- MOST IMPORTANTLY (AND THIS WORKS FOR YOUR OTHER CLASSES TOO)... Make your teacher happy! :)
- Students will be given 1 warning and then a Step Referral will be given
Lab Rules-
- No Drinks, Food, or Gum in the Lab (Unless given permission by teacher)
- Stay in assigned seat, unless you have permission to move (exceptions to Digital Media class)
- Do not change computer settings
- Do the lesson that is assigned to you
- Turn the volume down on computers when using the volume.
- Do not go to any website that has not been assigned, unless you have permission
- Do not download any program
- Cell phones must be put away and turned off (exceptions to Digital Media classes)
Bathroom Policy-
- Students must ask for permission
- 1 student allowed out at a time
- Students must sign-out and take a pass
- Upon returning to class, students must return pass and sign back in and get back to work
Digital Media "Out of Class" Rules-
- You must take a DIGITAL MEDIA PASS!
- You must be where you say you're going to be
- You must be on-task and not disrupt any classes
- When in a class, get permission from teacher; only 2 students in a class at a time (unless it is a challenge)
- When in a class taking pictures, you need to be in the back of the room ("zoom in" on camera, if needed)
- No cameras in the restrooms or locker rooms
- Do not take any equipment home; schedule a teacher or principal to check in or return to
- No other students outside of the Digital Media class are allowed to use equipment (unless given permission by Digital Media teacher)
